The TDMU Open English Singing Contest 2022 has officially ended with a convincing victory belonging to Nguyen Dang Phuc Hung - a music student at Thu Dau Mot University in both Solo and Group categories. 
 On the evening of May 25, 2022, the final ranking of the 9th TDMU OPEN English Singing Contest in 2022 took place with the competition of 32 best contestants from Thu Dau Mot University, Hong Bang International University, Dong A University, Ngo Quyen University, Hung Vuong Gifted High School, Center for continuing education and professional development in Binh Duong province, Tran Van On High School, Huynh Van Nghe High School, etc. The contestants competed in two types solo and group.  

Closing the final night of the competition, with quality and emotional performance, the Examiner found the winner of the solo category of the TDMU OPEN 2022 English Singing Contest, who is Nguyen Dang Phuc Hung – a student of Thu Dau Mot University with the performance "Phantom of the Opera". In particular, Nguyen Dang Phuc Hung and Do Dong Hao won the First Prize in the Group category with the performance " Thinking out loud". At the same time, the organizers also awarded the Second, Third, and, Consolation prizes to the contestants participating in the Contest. 
 Each performance in the contest was carefully invested, with different colors from impressive professional to youthful and vibrant. The stage of the final night was also "heated" with the performance of guest singer Pham Dinh Thai Ngan and champion of TDMU OPEN season 06 - Nguyen Hoang My. Hall No.01 with 700 seats was full of cheering spectators. And for the demand of students who cannot enter the hall, the organizers lived streamed the content of the contest night on the led screen in the Learning Garden, and on the school's fanpage. The organizer’s thoughtful preparation, along with the contestants' talents and enthusiasm and cheers from the audience made for an explosive music night, marking the impressive return of the TDMU Open competition after 2 years because of coronavirus.
 The 9th “TDMU OPEN” English Singing Contest was launched by Thu Dau Mot University in March 2022. This is a singing playground in English for all students with singing ability and passion for English studying at Thu Dau Mot University and universities and high schools in Binh Duong province, and neighboring provinces and cities. Contestants use English to sing songs with pure and healthy content (including translated songs) that are allowed to be circulated according to the State's regulations.
