WISE HCMC⁺ 2025 is an annual event of international scale, hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, aiming to promote the development of science and technology, strengthen investment connectivity, and implement major policies of the Central Government and the City on innovation. The event places particular emphasis on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (2024) of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of national science, technology, and innovation, as well as the Project on Developing Ho Chi Minh City’s Innovative Startup Ecosystem for the 2021–2025 period.
At the exhibition area, Thu Dau Mot University showcased a range of prominent products, including AIDrone, 3D printers, bio-leather and its derivatives, as well as cordyceps and herbal tea products. These are the outcomes of research groups and startup projects within the University, reflecting its key research orientations in technology, new materials, automation, and biotechnology. The science and technology products and innovative startup initiatives presented by Thu Dau Mot University at WISE HCMC⁺ 2025 have contributed to affirming the University’s role within the regional innovation network, while also demonstrating its commitment to accompanying the City in promoting the digital economy, science and technology development, and the innovative startup ecosystem.
In parallel with the exhibition activities, in response to the spirit of WISE HCMC⁺ 2025, on November 27, 2025, Thu Dau Mot University will organize the scientific conference entitled “Co-creation – Applying Design Thinking in Innovation and Sustainable Development at Thu Dau Mot University in Response to the Requirements of Politburo Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW.” The conference will bring together scientists, experts, and administrators to exchange ideas, update trends, and share experiences in innovation in university governance, the development of science and technology, and sustainable development strategies.
