Launched in July 2025, the competition attracted over 52 registered projects. This year's theme is "Digital Transformation – Green Innovation – Sustainable Startups", reflecting modern development trends and urgent societal demands. Participating students registered their startup ideas in the following field groups: (1) Technology, Product Manufacturing; (2) Agriculture – Forestry and Social Impact Business; (3) Education, Culture, and Healthcare, Beauty. Notably, the competition encourages students to develop ideas from course projects, graduation theses, scientific research reports, or previously implemented academic projects. After the Preliminary round, the Judges selected 20 outstanding projects with feasible ideas, thorough preparation, and high potential for development to compete in the Semi-Final.
In this round, the teams sequentially presented their ideas and introduced their products/services before the judges, experts, and guests. Each presentation not only demonstrated the creative thinking, ability to adopt trends, and proactive spirit in finding solutions to practical problems of Thu Dau Mot University students but also provided an opportunity for the teams to receive professional feedback and guidance to refine their ideas from experts in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. Based on scoring criteria such as: the necessity of the product/service for the market, novelty and creativity, implementation capacity, socio-economic impact, level of technology application, and presentation skills, the judges evaluated, appraised, and selected the 10 best projects to advance to the Final Round, scheduled for November 14, 2025, at Thu Dau Mot University.
The "TDMU Entrepreneurship Competition 2025" is not only an opportunity for students to test their skills with creative startup ideas but also a practical environment helping them hone their skills, connect with experts and businesses, and gradually realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
