In the morning of March 23, 2016, Thu Dau Mot University and the Taiwan Merchant Association have signed a friendly cooperation memorandum in the coordination of training highly qualified human resources and supporting for students during the learning process and looking for a job after graduation.

Mrs. Ha Thanh-Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Nguyen Phung Trung-Deputy Director of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs attended the Signing Ceremony. The two units concluded: the Taiwan Merchant Association’s representatives were Mr. Ngo Kien Hoanh-Chairman and the members of the Association, the representatives of the Thu Dau Mot University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep-President and the leaders of Faculty of Chinese language, Training Department and International Cooperation Department.

Speaking at the Signing Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep said that the missions of the the Thu Dau Mot University were training and providing the quality human resources to serve for the economic and social development of Binh Duong Province, the southern key economic region. With the branch of Chinese Training, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Electronics, Information Technology..., the School has met part of human needs for Taiwanese businesses in the province. The memorandum, which was signed this time, would confirm the commitment between the School and the Association to make the training process at the following address and use labors together. This was the work with important meaning in increasing the quality of training and guaranteeing of the output standard as the school had announced.

Exchanging at the meeting, Mr. Ngo Kien Hoanh insisted, The Thu Dau Mot University was the reliable address in training and providing the human resources for companies, enterprises during the time. The Taiwan Merchant Association would be the link between the Schools with the enterprises in order to create favorable conditions to help the students have internship opportunities in business and they can find out suitable jobs after graduation. The Association would expeditiously implement the terms of the cooperation memorandum into reality.

In the framework of the meeting, the two sides discussed and unified the forms of the cooperation; at the same time, they signed the cooperation proceedings to coordinate to train the highly qualified human resources and support students in the learning process and looking for a job after graduation.

The content of the cooperation memorandum:

-The two parties coordinately organized the personnel recruitment activities for businesses.

- The Thu Dau Mot University, based on the needs of employers of the business, will train highly qualified and appropriate human resources.

-The Taiwan Merchant Association supports students of the Thu Dau Mot University in the internship and sightseeing at the enterprises; campaign the businesses to supporting, provide scholarships for disadvantaged students.
