The 5th Vietnam - Taiwan Education Forum took place on September 18, 2017 in Taipei, co-organized by Chi Nan International University and Taiwan National University. The forum was attended by representatives of more than 50 Vietnamese and Taiwanese universities. The main discussion of this forum is to further promote bilateral training cooperation and enhance teaching Vietnamese at Taiwanese high schools and universities. At the forum, Thu Dau Mot University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Long Hoa Technical University and Thu Duc Technical University, and accepted an invitation to attend the 4-year anniversary of the Binh Dong University held in December 2017.

During the trip schedule, the delegation of Thu Dau Mot University officially visited to Trieu Duong Technical University - an important partner of the TDMU in the recent years. The Principal of Trieu Duong Technical University and the leaders of the Faculty warmly welcomed and exchanged details on the implementation of the joint training program on Industrial Management. Trieu Duong Technical University also took the delegation to visit the facilities, training management system and dormitories to serve the expected cooperation program between the two parties.
