Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien Thuong was elected to hold the position of President of the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association for the term 2022-2027

On the morning of May 10, the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association of the province held the second congress, term 2022-2027.  With the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province; Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the last term, the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association of the province actively developed and implemented the plan under the guidance and direction of the Central Committee of the Association, The provincial propaganda and training commission, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, and the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations with diverse contents and forms. The Association has cooperated in raising investment, working, and exchanging experiences in high-tech engineering, educational management, economics, and many other fields at research institutes, and foreign localities universities that have signed agreements with Binh Duong; Exchange and experience Korean culture – Homestay; Vietnamese culture experience; Youth exchange between Binh Duong province and Daejeon city in Binh Duong province; Cultural exchange with the East district of Daejeon city…
The Congress elected 21 delegates to the Executive Committee for the term 2022-2027; elect 3 delegates to be members of the Association's Inspection Committee for the term 2022-2027. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien Thuong, Director of the Institute of Application Development (Thu Dau Mot University) was elected to hold the position of President of the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association for the term 2022-2027.

At the congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Dich suggested that the Association should promote more strongly its role in promoting cooperation in all fields between Vietnam and Korea; consolidating and expanding the network of partners, promoting solidarity, friendship, and cultural exchange activities; promoting the activities of the Association to the people in the province; proactively capture information on investment cooperation and trade between the two countries to share with members; well perform the role of a bridge to support Koreans to study and work in Binh Duong... Departments and political, economic, and social organizations are interested, supportive, and well-implemented cooperation with the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association in activities to strengthen the relationship of peace, solidarity, and friendship between the two citizens of Vietnam and Korea in general, the people of Binh Duong and localities of Korea in particular.
